Cobra’s Bazet Becomes Chairman

Chicago — Cobra Electronics said its president and CEO Jim Bazet will also assume the role of chairman.
Bazet will replace Carl Korn, the company founder who is retiring after 47 years at Cobra. He is 87 years old.
Bazet’s new role became effective yesterday, said Cobra. He has been Cobra’s president and CEO since 1998.
