Ex-Zenith Chairman Wright Dies At 91

Joseph S. Wright, retired chairman of Zenith Electronics died on March 11, here.

Wright, who died at his home just five days before his 91st birthday, joined Zenith in 1952 as assistant general counsel. He was named to the board in 1954, VP in 1955 and president in 1959. Wright was appointed chairman in 1968 and served until 1976 when he retired.

Wright had a second stint as chairman of the board from October 1979 to April 1982.
