PC Expo Kicks Off This Week

Staff -- TWICE, 6/25/2001

The 80,000-plus attendees at PC Expo this week will find themselves a part of something much bigger than last year's expo, as the trade show has been folded into the newly minted Technology Exchange Week NY (TECHXNY).

TECHXNY combines the traditional PC Expo show and industry workshops with six additional programs, including eTV World, a conference on enhanced TV and interactive broadband convergence.

Palm CEO Carl Yankowski will kick off PC Expo tomorrow with the opening keynote titled "Handheld Computing: Grass Roots to Corporate Standard."

Complete coverage of PC Expo begins on p. 30.
