CES 2009: MB Quart Bows TV Mirror
By Staff -- TWICE, January 8, 2009
LAS VEGAS — Maxxsonics USA's MB Quart brand will be showing its International CES Innovations Award-winning HiddenReflections television mirror and products during CES at booth 1809 in the North Hall.
The 24-inch by 35-inch HiddenReflections television mirror is touted as a vision of elegance and technology. The HiddenReflections lineup consists of four conveniently sized mirrors with built-in and hidden 17-inch LCD HDTVs.
The MB Quart HiddenReflections series is ideal for non-custom applications such as bathrooms, foyers, entranceways or any desired viewing space. When the LCD is turned off, it shows only a mirror reflection. When the LCD is activated, it transforms into a window to the world, said the company.
MB Quart uses premier one-way glass and high-reflective, high-contrast multilayer substrate for a natural reflection of color and skin tones — an improvement in the properties found in traditional mirrors.
MB Quart has developed a 17-inch LCD HDTV at a depth of one inch, exclusively used in the HiddenReflections series, the company said. The mirrors use technology found in MB Quart speakers.
The TV features all standard A/V inputs and outputs, and all mounting hardware is included.
Pricing and ship dates will be available at the show.
