d-SLRs, New Features Spur Digital Imaging Sales Growth

Continued enthusiasm for digital SLRs along with a bevy of high-tech features will buoy the digital camera market in 2007, but successfully selling these sophisticated features in a retail environment remains a key challenge.

That was the word from executives at the annual TWICE Digital Imaging Roundtable, held here recently. The panel, moderated by TWICE contributing editor Greg Scoblete, tackled a range of issues, including the prospects for wireless imaging, the future of digital storage and how much longer the digital camera market could buck predictions of a sales decline.
