EarHugger Headphone Introduction Keys To Price

Staff -- TWICE, 2/9/2004

Price is the story for a new noise-canceling headphone from EarHugger. The unit, EH-1420NC, which has a suggested $50 retail, features active noise cancellation and cancels out a full 15dB of noise.

The cancellation takes place in the 300Hz to 400Hz range, where most annoying background noises occur. According to EarHugger, the noise-canceling specifications and capabilities equal the finest noise-canceling headphones available.

The headphone is foldable and features an in-line volume control. An airline adapter, travel pouch and AAA battery are included.

In other news from EarHugger, the company has consolidated its expanded portable storage product lineup under the CaseLine brand.

EarHugger said it has combined interesting textures, vibrant colors and unique materials to create a line of cases that "will appeal to every demographic." The 72-disc-capacity wallet, CL-FLM72C, is typical of new fashion introductions from the company. Called the Flame, it comes in charcoal, red, teal and blue.
