By Staff -- TWICE, January 9, 2009
LAS VEGAS — ACE CAD Enterprise of Taiwan is introducing DigiMemo L2/A402 digital notepad with memory during International CES at Hilton booth 47000/47002. It can digitally capture and store everything a user writes on ordinary paper.
DigiMemo L2/A402 is a portable digital notepad and an electronic inking pen. It is a stand-device with storage capability that digitally captures and stores everything users write or draw with ink on ordinary paper, without the use of computer or special paper. Users can then easily view, edit, organize and share handwritten notes in Windows, the company said.
When connected to a PC, the DigiMemo L2/A402 is not only a removable storage device but a USB tablet for all Windows applications. The USB tablet mode makes it function like a cordless mouse in Windows. Users can use the digital pen on the pad in landscape mode to move the cursor on the screen, the company noted.
Included DigiMemo Manager software allows users to better manage handwritten notes more efficiently. With the DigiMemo Manager software, users can save the digital notes as a notebook file (e-Book), and further share notes with others via email. In this software, it also offers an online writing function that can instantly synchronize writing on the paper with the digital page in the software window, the firm said.
Suggested retail pricing and shipment dates will be available during CES.
