Wal-Mart has created two new senior management positions for its U.S. division. Bill Simon will function as COO and Pat Curran will be the executive VP of people. According to a company release, both will continue to report directly to Eduardo Castro-Wright, president and CEO of Wal-Mart Stores U.S ... Tony Goncalves, former Humax USA's sales and marketing VP, named DirecTV's consumer electronics retail sales VP, replacing Brian Olsen, DirecTV national accounts VP, who is retiring after four years with the company ... Tom Malone, mobile electronics senior VP for Audiovox Electronics, a subsidiary of Audiovox Corp., named president of the unit, which markets vehicle and consumer electronics products. The post of president of Audiovox Electronics has remained vacant since former president Pat Lavelle was promoted to president and CEO of parent Audiovox Corp. several years ago ... Mike McMaster, operations manager and chief financial officer of Wilshire Home Entertainment, named president of the California-based retailer. He succeeds Lyn Perry, who remains with the company as CEO ... Diane O'Neill, controller of Russound, named finance and accounting director, while Teresa Steenbeke, ex-travel & accommodations manager for the Telluride and Tribeca Film Festivals, named trade show manager. Steenbeke replaces Maria Linvill, who has become consumer support and education department coordinator ... Paul Dadian, formerly broadcast sales supervisor at Harris Broadcast division, named iBiquity broadcast sales manager responsible for working with midtier radio station groups and independent station to upgrade to HD Radio system. He is the third new hire by the iBiquity broadcast team in the past six months … Doug Henderson, ex-Audtek, a New York-based rep firm, joins B&W Group North America as sales and marketing VP for all brands.
