Sega Slates 10 Online Titles For 3 Systems

SAN FRANCISCO– Sega will bring a powerful online gaming message to this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), by announcing online titles for all three console platforms this year.

The company, which is expected to be the only software developer supporting online gaming on all platforms, said it will be shipping 10 online titles across the three next-generation console platforms.

Sega, which is credited as one of the first developers in the online console gaming market, has developed more than 15 online console games in the last two years.

New titles slated for 2002, include SEGA Sport's NFL 2K3, NBA 2K3 and NCAA College Basketball 2K3 for PlayStation 2 and Xbox; Phantasy Star Online for Xbox; and Phantasy Star Online: Episode I & II" for Nintendo GameCube. o
