Trust Bows Variety Of Accessories

By Lisa Johnston -- TWICE, 7/21/2008

PC accessories and design tablets were the forerunners in a recent spate of product announcements from Trust.

Other products included an "ultra-small" Bluetooth adapter, a mini Web cam and two wireless mice.

The three design tablets include two slim-line versions — the TB-6300 and TB5300 — and a widescreen model, the TB-7300. The first two include a wireless, three-button pen with 512 steep pressure. The TB-6300 ($99.99 has an 8-inch by 6-inch working space, while the TB-5300 ($79.99) has 5.5 by 4 inches. The 5300 comes with 28 extra direct-accessible programmable soft buttons, and the 6300 ups that number up to 42.

The widescreen design tablet, the TB-7300, has a working surface, and it comes with two wheel pads for picture editing other graphic applications, as well as 32 extra direct-accessible programmable buttons. Its pen feature two buttons with 1,024 step pressure sensitivity and 60-degree title sensitivity. Suggested retail is $179.

Both of the mice introduced by Trust are billed as wireless mini mice. The MI-4920NP is an optical mouse for $24.99, while the MI-7580NP is a laser mouse for $29.99. Both feature 800 dpi resolution, can be used with both left- and right-handed users, and feature a USB receiver that can be stored inside the mouse.

The USB2 from Trust (WB-3600R) is a mini Web cam boasting a 640 by 480 hardware resolution and 5-megapixel snapshot resolution. Features include face-tracking technology, 2x digital zoom and an integrated light that's meant to enhance image quality in low-light environments.

The company also debuted a "compact-sized" USB adapter that's engineered to be fully integrated with the laptop when it's plugged. It retails for a suggested $19.99.
