Clarion Bows Marine-Grade In-Dash A/V

Clarion is debuting one of the first marine-grade in-dash DVD/monitors for the marine market at International CES

In addition, the company is broadening distribution of its portable MiND GPS/Internet device at $649.99. This was previously sold through two retailers — Car Toys and Crutchfield.

The MiND is a mobile internet device that offers turn-by-turn GPS and full mobile Internet access and PC functionality.

In marine products, Clarion's CMV1 DVD/receiver has a 3.5-inch screen and USB iPod control. It plays video from all sources including an iPod (although a cable is required for iPod video). It is also splash resistant and satellite radio and Bluetooth ready at a suggested retail of $699.
