Bazooka Ships Eq., Capacitor

BATON ROUGE, LA. — Dead center in the crosshairs of the convergence of car audio and performance parts are two new products from SAS under its Bazooka brand.

One product is a 1-band parametric equalizer designed to look like a turbo controller.

"A lot of kids can't afford a $10,000 turbo system so they just buy the controller. We use that to help the audio system," said a spokesman.

This is joined by a capacitor that resembles a fire extinguisher and several subwoofers in "nitrous oxide bottles" (see story above). Both the equalizer and capacitor are expected to ship in May at respective suggested retail prices of $89 and $99.
