Vonage Adds International Calling Plans

By Staff -- TWICE, 9/24/2007

VoIP provider Vonage added a series of international calling plans for new and existing subscribers to its service.

The new calling plans are available to new or existing Premium Unlimited residential customers for an additional fee. Plans range from an additional $6 a month to $15 a month on top of the $24.99 a month Vonage charges for its Premium Unlimited service (which offers unlimited calling to the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico, France, United Kingdom, Italy, Spain and Ireland).

Plans cover Asia, Europe, Latin America or a "world" plan encompassing 60 cities/countries.

Vonage added a search function to its international rates page to let customers see what plans they could use for the international numbers they dial.
