Targus Introduces Digital Camera, Camcorder Cases

ANAHEIM, CALIF. -Three lines of carrying cases for digital cameras and camcorders-called Pro Black, Sport and Casual-have been introduced by Targus Inc. Core product design for the digital camera cases was handled by Santa Monica, Calif.-based Studio Roundhouse, Targus' new subsidiary.
The digital camera cases represent Targus' response to the integration of digital imaging with mobile commuting. High-density foam surrounds the main compartments, while interior walls and dividers are covered with a soft, plush lining. The exterior of the camera cases feature a 420-denier twill nylon to ensure long-term wear and use.
All cases have extra storage areas for items such as memory cards, and the larger camera and camcorder cases have additional accessory storage compartments for batteries, power adapters and connector cables. Cases feature a stretch strap to reduce shoulder and neck strain, and the smaller models include belt-loop straps.
Pro Black is designed for corporate users who want professional-looking cases in traditional black. Sport features charcoal, silver and metallic blue colors designed to mimic CE product colors from Sony, Kodak and Olympus. Casual comes in khaki, with subtle accent trims, for a more relaxed look.
Digital camera cases range in suggested retails of $11.99 to $49.99. Camcorders cases are $49.
