Atlantic Debuts Durable CD Wallet Line For Active Users

By Staff -- TWICE, 2/24/2003

The first CD wallets in the Active Line from Atlantic include the NRG and the Turbine, designed to be taken to the beach, thrown in the car or tossed in a backpack.

Made of durable nylon and featuring a spacious outside pocket to hold everything from cellphone to sunscreen, the CD wallets were designed specifically with active users in mind.

The Active Line of CD wallets is two-toned and features 3-D design, chunky zipper and customer zipper pull. The Turbine includes flat stitching, also found on wet suits, and comes in yellow/silver, gray/black and black/silver. The NRG does not feature flat stitching and is available in blue/silver, black/red and black/silver.

Both wallets are available in a 32-CD unit at $12.99 suggested retail and a 12-CD Player Case at $16.99 suggested retail. Both will be available this spring.

Also new from Atlantic in CD wallets is The Switch Collection, said to be the first reversible wallets for music lovers who want a choice. This trio of wallets can be turned "inside out" to display a completely different color and design. Each is made of durable nylon with metal interchangeable snaps and rubber handle. Wallets store up to 24 CDs and come in three designs. Suggested retail is $11.99 each.

The Switch CD Wallet, called Nature, features a tropical island theme complete with hibiscus flowers on one side and butterflies on the reverse.

The Switch Jersey resembles a team jersey, with both sides including stripes and a player's number. One side is designed as the "home" jersey and the flip side is designed to be the "away" jersey. The Switch Hologram offers two different colors and geometric hologram patterns.
