Channel Vision Introduces Phone Entry System

Staff -- TWICE, 4/30/2001

COSTA MESA, CALIF. — A new and improved Telephone Entry System, model TE200, made by Channel Vision, is said to provide a convenient and cost effective communication link between a home entrance and every phone in the house.

Operated from the touch-tone keypad on any phone, the TE200 allows users direct access to their front door. Once the doorbell is pressed, the phones will produce three short rings. This allows consumers to recognize they have visitors, speak directly with them and even unlock doors by simply pressing a button on the phone keypad. The TE200 also has a signal through the receiver if the phone is already in use.

Switching between the intercom and phone is voice activated, remotely located gates or doors can be unlocked and the unit interfaces with multi-room audio processors for whole-house paging.

Suggested retail is $470. Availability is immediate.
