Dacor Bows Bottom Mounts

Diamond Bar, Calif. — Dacor, the premium kitchen appliance maker, has expanded its entry into the refrigeration category with the introduction an Epicure line of stand-alone bottom-mount refrigerators.
The new units measure 36-inches wide and 24-inches deep and are available in stainless steel with either a French door or standard door configuration. Both versions include a slide-out deli drawer and two crisp drawers with individual temperature and humidity controls. An internal water dispenser mounted on the inside wall provides filtered water and the freezer drawer features wired baskets to keep frozen foods organized.
Other features include front-mounted electronic controls for accurate temperature readouts with monitors to alert users when the internal temperature increases, the water filter needs changing, or if the door is left open for too long. The line is Energy Star compliant and features “adaptive/pre-emptive defrost technology” which tracks use of the freezer door and adjusts temperatures accordingly.
This latest introduction is the most recent step in the range company's move into the refrigeration category, following releases of built-in and side-by-side refrigerators earlier in the year. It also follows the launch of specialty refrigeration products including dual-zone and single-zone wine stewards and a beverage center.
The 36-inch stand-alone Epicure refrigerators are available now to dealers and carry a suggested $2,249 price point. .
