Western Digital Adds Color To Portable Drives

Lake Forest, Calif. —Western Digital will add 10 new color designs to its My Passport Essential USB hard drives.


Western Digital's My Passport Essential line of USB hard drives will now be offered in 10 colors.

The drives will now be offered in orange, yellow, blue, white, viola, cherry red, real red, mint, “intense” blue and pink

Passport Essential drives include WD Sync software and feature 128-bit encryption. They also ship preloaded with Google software including desktop search, Picasa and Google Toolbar.

The drives are sold in 160GB, 250GB and 320GB capacities for $119, $149 and $179, respectively.
