CES 2009: Concept Debuts Mobile A/V Systems

By Staff -- TWICE, January 9, 2009

Concept will be introducing a mobile multimedia system and a flip-down monitor for cars and other vehicles during International CES at booth 1818.

The TRI-700S(B/G/T) is a 7-inch wide mobile multimedia system. The Tri-Zone System is said to be the first to offer the driver and the passengers complete control of their mobile media experience.

The system is designed so all features of the main unit can be accessed via touchscreen through three independent zones. Passengers can watch a DVD on one headrest and TV on the other while the driver listens to the radio from the main unit. With the Tri-Zone System, everyone gets what they want, the company said. Ship date and suggested retail pricing were not available at press time.

The Q1100 11-inch wide DVD flip-down monitor has a suggested retail of $799 and is available now. Concept said that what makes the Q1100 unique from other flip-downs are the additional USB port, SD card slot and iPod video inputs. It can share photos from an SD card, or music and video files downloaded to an iPod, all on one device. The Q1100 also sports a redesigned DVD system for more reliability, the company said.
