Gentec Intros Rechargeable Battery Kit Trio

Markham, Ontario — Gentec International is offering a new selection of Optex CamPower Rechargeable Nickel-Metal Hydride (NiMH) Battery Kits specifically designed for digital cameras and other high drain devices such as cameras, portable music players, handheld games and PDAs.
The first, called CP1600, is an ultra-compact charger kit featuring a folding plug, which further reduces size and prevents scratching of equipment in a camera bag. The kit, which includes four 1600mAh AA NiMH batteries, has a suggested $29.99 retail.
Gentec's CP1850 is a universal (110V to 240V AC) charger ideal for travel. It includes two foreign plug adapters and four 1850mAh NiMH AA batteries, and is capable of charging either two or four AA or AAA batteries. It offers a folding plug and has a $49.99 suggested retail.
The CP2000 rapid charger includes an AC adapter and automobile power adapter, for charging batteries at home or in the car.
Timer-controlled circuitry keeps batteries topped off for maximum power at all times. Four 2000mAh NiMH AA cells are included with the charger. Suggested retail is $69.99 for the kit and $19.99 for a 4-pack (NM2000) of additional batteries.
