Universal Remotes Strive To Ease A/V Confusion In 2009

Several manufacturers sought to relieve consumer confusion in 2009 — just how many remotes can one person have? — by introducing a variety of universal remote controls. Each seeks, at least to some extent, to reduce the number of remotes a consumer is required to have when operating his home theater. Here is a roundup of some of the most recent introductions.
