Fellowes Unveils USB 2.0 Product Line

Staff -- TWICE, 1/28/2002

Fellowes is offering a new USB 2.0 product line, including 4Port Hub, 4 Port Swivel Hub, 4 Port Travel Hub and Ethernet Adapter.

Model 99467 4 Port Hub USB 2.0 adds four ports to a workstation. It is capable of low, full and high speeds and can transmit large amounts of data from cameras, scanners, printers and mass storage devices. The platinum- colored unit, at a suggested $79.98 retail, supports up to 127 different devices, providing true plug and play capabilities for all USB peripherals.

The 4 Port Swivel Hub, Model 99462 in gray and graphite, adds four ports to a workstation and provides support for up to 127 devices. Its design reduces desktop clutter to and from a personal computer by allowing each port to swivel 180 degrees. It is backward compatible to 1.1 and compatible with all USB devices. Suggested retail is $137.48.

Road warriors will find the 4 Port Travel Hub an essential travel accessory, said Fellowes. The unit adds four USB ports to a laptop for ease of plug and play of USB peripherals on the road.

The circular design protects both its ports and cable. When not in use, the four ports swivel into the unit while the cable reels into the interior, eliminating the potential for damage or loss. Styled in black, the product has a suggested $137.48 retail.

The Ethernet Adapter allows for ease of plug and play connections to a LAN in a home, office or school setting. The Ethernet Adapter does not need a network interface card to operate, and there is no need to set COM ports or work out IRQ conflicts.

The gray-colored product is 10/100 T base and complies with USB 1.1. Suggested retail is $99.98.
