APC Honor Earth Day With Donations

WEST KINGSTON, R.I. — APC will donate $5 per APC Back-UPS ES 750 and Power-Saving SurgeArrest sold through participating retailers and directly from APC.com in North America on Earth Day, April 22.
The donation will be made to The Nature Conservancy.
The APC Back-UPS ES 750 and Power Saving SurgeArrest feature SmartShedding technology, which allows the products' master outlet to sense when the computer has either been turned off or has gone into sleep mode, so it can shut off power to unused peripherals plugged into the controlled outlets .
