IFA Show Enjoys Attendance Growth

Berlin — The IFA convention, held here Aug. 31-Sept. 3, saw a 15 percent jump in exhibitors and a 10 percent climb in the numbers of trade and general public visitors, the show’s organizers said.

Manufacturers witnessed a 10 percent growth in orders as well, according to GFU and Messe Berlin, the show’s organizer.

Roughly 235,000 registered attendees (both domestic and international) and 1,212 exhibitors from 32 countries attended the European technology fair. Last year, 212,000 visitors flocked to the show.
