Chief Unveils More Mounting Options

LAS VEGAS — Chief Manufacturing is introducing a variety of mounting solutions for flat-panel TVs during International CES at South Hall 1, booth 20931.
The company is offering a new line of decorative frames for 32-inch, 42-inch and 50-inch flat-panel TVs available in four different colors or with an optional optical mirror. The mirror makes a flat-panel screen look like a real mirror when the TV is powered off. The decorative frames are available in classic black, dark pecan, antique gold or brushed silver. All include an infrared kit, so consumers can use their current television remote.
Five new SKUs have been added to the iC mounting solutions line manufactured by Chief. The iCLPFA2 universal dual swing-arm mount (for 30-inch to 50-inch TVs) provides wide viewing angles with 21 inches of extension.
The iCMPDA1 universal single swing-arm mount (for 26-inch to 40-inch TVs) has a 21-inch extension and large swivel range. The iCMPFM1 universal non-tilting wall mount (for 23-inch to 45-inch TVs) securely mounts flat-panel TVs just 1.6 inches from the wall for a low-profile appearance. The iCMPTM1 universal tilting wall mount (23-inch to 45-inch TVs) offers gravity-centered tilt and built-in lateral shift; installation is designed to be quick, with four steps. The iCFPAC1 cable channel accessory hides and protects cables and wires and works with all iC flat-panel wall mounts.
Designed as an upgrade to Chief's RPA mounts, the RPA Elite offers many of the features as the RPA series, such as independent roll, pitch and yaw, integrated cable management and all-points security packaged in a new slim design. They also have MicroZone adjustments for independent micro adjustment of roll, pitch, and yaw with the use of a No. 2 screwdriver. Macro adjustments with Centris technology use the center of gravity to adjust projectors with the touch of a finger.
The Q-Lock integrated security system allows quick detachment of projectors from the mount for regular maintenance and access to the lamp and filter. Custom models are available in black; universal models are available in black, silver or white. Pricing and availability will be announced at the show.
