Rite Aid, Fuji Roll Out More Photo Centers

By Staff -- TWICE, 4/21/2008

Fujifilm will provide in-store and online digital imaging services for Rite Aid's revamped photo centers.

The deal expands an existing relationship between the two companies. Starting in the summer, Rite Aid's re-launched photo centers will offer in-store printing using Fujifilm's GetPix kiosks and the company's dry Frontier minilabs.

Rite Aid will also sell Fujifilm's one-time-use cameras and color film.

Fujifilm will support online fulfillment and off-site photo merchandise creation (photo books, calendars, greeting cards, etc.) through its Fujicolor processing division. According to the company, the solution will provide consumers with a consistent user interface for print ordering both online and in-store.

Rite Aid operates more than 5,000 stores across the United States.
