Electrograph Systems To Hold 2nd Annual Display Meeting May 3 In S.F.
San Francisco — Electrograph System will hold its second Display Technology Experience (DTE) of 2006; it will be held on Wednesday, May 3, at the South San Francisco Conference Center from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event is free for resellers. Display technologies highlighted at the DTE include: plasma displays, LCD displays, rear-projection TVs, mounts, audio, CAT-5 products, video scalers and interfaces, input cards, touch overlays, tuners and power conditioners. Manufacturers exhibiting at the DTE’s Product Showcase include: Pioneer, NEC, Samsung, Panasonic, Sony, Philips, Sharp, LG, Mitsubishi and Hitachi. An array of peripheral product vendors will also be exhibiting to provide an overview of the complete display solution. Education seminars are also being offered. Registration is online at www.electrographdte.com, and complete DTE information, including an agenda, faculty bios, and hotel details, may also be found at the Web site. Space is limited and attendees must register by April 30.

New Age Electronics Gets Kudos From Sharp
Carson, Calif. — New Age Electronics has been awarded the first ever Diamond Achievement Award as the top Master Distributor for the 2005 fiscal year from Sharp Document Solutions Company of America (SDSCA). “New Age has been a key partner with Sharp for more than two decades, and we recognize the company for its long-standing record of success,” said Doug Engberg, distribution VP for SDSCA. “Throughout our relationship New Age has shown a dedication to profitable growth through outstanding customer care.” New Age has been working with Sharp since the late 1980s, selling fax and copier machines. This year the relationship is expanding from the retail small office/home office division to their fax and copier group to sell Sharp into to the second and third segment chains. As part of the agreement, New Age will train dealers to be certified resellers and set up a service department.

DBL To Hold Annual Charity Golf Tourney May 5-6
Scottsdale, Ariz. — DBL Distributing is hosting its 6th annual charity golf tournament and dinner gala on Friday, May 5, and Saturday, May 6, here. This year’s theme, “DBL Derby,” is meant to evoke all the thrill and excitement of a traditional thoroughbred horse race. Over the past five years, DBL has raised nearly half a million dollars for local Phoenix charities.
