Case-mate Gets Naked With iPhone Case

By Lisa Johnston -- TWICE, 4/21/2008

Case-mate announced the Naked case last week. Designed for use with the iPhone and iPod Touch, the Naked case reportedly enables full protection of the device, including the screen, while still providing full touch-through access to the iPhone and Touch.

The electrostatic membrane on the front of the case is engineered to pass electrical pulses through the device's screen, ensuring that touch controls work while in the case, according to the company.

Other features include cutouts for access to all other controls, and a solid acrylic construction that maintains 360-degree protection for the device, said Case-mate.

The Naked case retails for a suggested $34.99.
