Port Washington, N.Y. - iLuv Creative Technology has begun shipping a variety of cables it debuted at International CES.

These include the DualJack iCB17 and iCB27 sync and charge cables, as well as the iCB110/iCB112 stereo audio cable and iCB117 coiled stereo audio cable.

The iCB110 and iCB112 straight shielded aux-in cables come in 3- and 6-foot lengths. The coiled iCB117 comes in a 6-foot length.

London - Personnel changes continued at Sony Mobile Communications, where Dennis van Schie has been named corporate VP, head of sales and marketing worldwide.

He reports to president/CEO Kunimasa Suzuki, who replaced Bert Nordberg, effective today. Nordberg became chairman of the board.

Van Schie is a 10-year Sony Mobile veteran, having served most recently as corporate VP, head of the product business unit. There, he was responsible for product planning, development and management of the Xperia smartphone line. He will be based in London.

Framingham, Mass. - Staples reported relatively flat sales and slightly lower net income in its fiscal first quarter, ended April 28.

Total company sales for the first quarter of 2012 were $6.1 billion, a decrease of 1 percent in U.S. dollars and flat on a local currency basis compared with the first quarter of 2011.

Net income for the first quarter of 2012 decreased 6 percent year over year to $187 million.

Stream TV Deal Advances Glasses-Free 3D

Philadelphia, Pa. - Stream TV Networks said Tuesday it has reached a manufacturing partnership agreement with Unihan (Pegatron) Corp. to produce Stream TV's 3D without glasses devices.

Pegatron will produce devices incorporating Stream TV's proprietary Ultra-D technology that can be ported to most sized displays without any noticeable loss in brightness or resolution.
