Toshiba used the buying frenzy that generally greets the pre-Super Bowl period to jointly promote its big-screen TVs and HD DVD players with regional retail accounts. The promotion offered purchasers of any Toshiba TV 42W inches and larger and a Toshiba HD DVD player an instant $200 rebate.
