Ultimate Sales Slip In Third Quarter, Operating Loss Cut
Traffic declines, driven by residual impacts from last year, as well as shifting competitive pressures, drove fiscal third-quarter sales at Ultimate Electronics down 1.3 percent to $157.2 million, compared with $159.7 million in the year-ago period. Comp-store sales dropped 8 percent in the three months.
