Fisher & Paykel has been hitting the road with specialized training trailers that allow dealers to "test drive" its washing machines and compare them with the competition. The 90-minute hands-on sessions, conducted by Fisher & Paykel sales managers and service technicians, include a PowerPoint presentation and a laundry run-off between the company's Ecosmart washer and models from Amana, Maytag and Whirlpool. Said regional manager Dan Whitley, "While our top objective is to highlight our Ecosmart machine, we find that washer sales across the board increase for our dealers after one of these sessions."
