Sub-Zero/Wolf Partner
With Control4

SALT LAKE CITY —

Select refrigerators, ovens and
wine-storage units from Sub-Zero and sister company
Wolf Appliance can now be integrated into Control4’
s IP-based whole-home control platform.

The new partnership will allow homeowners with a
Control4 system to program Sub-Zero freezers and
refrigerators to automatically set ice-making and other
energy-intensive functions to lower levels at different
times of the day, or automatically adjust settings
to accommodate specific lifestyle needs, such as
increasing ice production prior to entertaining large
numbers of guests. Customers can also be notified
when oven pre-heat is complete, view the current
oven temperature, receive alerts when the timer is almost
finished, and access meat temperature from the
internal meat thermometer.

Users can also receive alerts that allow them to
manage and monitor energy usage, and can send
general service requests through their Control4 system
directly to Sub-Zero and Wolf.

“The connected home isn’t just about consumer
electronics,” said Control4 CEO Will West. “Every
appliance and service should be easily accessed and
managed through any touch point in the house.”
