Electrolux Names New Supply Chain Chief

Charlotte, N.C. – Electrolux Major Appliances North America has hired Daren Couture as end-to-end supply chain senior VP.

Couture, who joins the majap maker from Danaher, will oversee the supply chain and nine North American manufacturing facilities, including the newest cooking appliances plant in Memphis.

“Daren’s extensive experience, strong background and proven results make him a great fit for our company,” said Jack Truong, president/CEO of Electrolux Major Appliances North America. “We are excited to welcome him to the team and are confident he will excel as we continue our dedication to improving manufacturing quality, speed and flexibility.”

Couture has more than 20 years’ experience in manufacturing operations and supply chain management. At Danaher, which designs, makes and markets technology products for the industrial and consumer sectors, he led manufacturing, procurement, service, and supply chain for the company’s test and measurement markets platform as global operations senior VP.

Before that he held several posts at Newell Rubbermaid working with such brands as Sharpie, Paper Mate, Waterman, Parker, DYMO, Rolodex, Mimio and Card Scan.
