Columbia, S.C. — Southeastern majap distributor Climatic Home Products has added Haier America to its white-goods brand offering.
According to Climatic, the deal will provide independent dealers with more choices with which to compete strategically within their markets.
The agreement also marks an expansion for Climatic, which will add more states to its distribution footprint to accommodate its new vendor partner.
“We couldn’t be happier to have Haier allow us to represent them,” said Climatic president Doug Allen.
Haier is a wholly owned subsidiary of Haier Group, which enjoyed nearly $26 billion in global CE and majap sales last year.
Climatic, now in its 75th year, also distributes such brands as Frigidaire, Samsung, Broan, Danby, Sharp and Waste King throughout its Southeast territories. Allen added that the distributor has a long history of “successful dealer and manufacturer relationships because we focus on more than just selling a product. Our work is about a better, intuitive understanding of the market and strategically helping those with whom we do business.”
This TWICE webinar, hosted by senior editor Alan Wolf, will take a look at what may be the hottest CE products at retail that will be sold during the all-important fourth quarter. Top technologies, market strategies and industry trends will be discussed with industry analysts and executives.
