Bertazzoni Adds Entry-Level Line

In a sign of the times, Bertazzoni, the Italian luxury majap maker, has added an entry-level line to its collection of super-premium ranges.

The new Master series is priced about 20 percent below comparable cooking products, the manufacturer said, but retains the company’s professional-grade design and technologically advanced features.

Available next month at a suggested retail range of $2,299 to $3,349, the stainless-steel, all-gas platform includes two models: a 30-inch four-burner and a 36-inch five-burner range. Each features Bertazzoni’s signature sealed triple-ring burners with separately controlled flames that generate up to 15,000 Btu, including a dedicated simmer burner for delicate cooking.

Other features include one-piece work top styling, heavy-duty cast iron grates, one-touch ignition systems, child-safe gas cut-off valves on all burners, a wide-area infrared gas grill, and a triple-glaze door to ensure minimal heat loss. The line also offers matching backsplashes and adjustable ventilator hoods with three settings.

The Master series joins Bertazzoni’s existing Professional and Heritage lines, which respectively offer modern and classic styling.
