AHAM Meeting Attracts Upbeat Appliance Execs

By TWICE staff

Buoyed by a successful first half for appliance sales, industry execs were in a good mood at the recent Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers meeting in Washington, D.C. Attendees had a chance to meet new AHAM president Joe McGuire, hear from Consumer Product Safety Commission chair Ann Brown and other notables, and swap stories at receptions and meal events. AHAM also honored several industry leaders at an awards banquet, including former president Bob Holding, who received a lifetime achievement award.
