H2O Audio recently introduced three new waterproof headphones.
The Surge Pro ($99.99 suggested retail) has a compact construction and what the company described as “premium” sound quality, while the Surge Sportwrap ($59.99) is said to be an ergonomically designed neckband headphone that provides stability and comfort for active sports like running, surfing and wakeboarding.
The Surge Pro comes with 6.5mm drivers, a frequency response of 18,000Hz to 20,000Hz and an impedance of 56 ohms.
The Sportwrap features 8mm drivers, with a frequency response listed 18,000Hz to 20,000Hz and an impedance of 16 ohms.
The updated Interval waterproof headphone system ($99.99) is designed for use with the third-generation iPod Shuffle. It features built-in Surge waterproof headphones and Made for iPod controls.
All of the products are said to be 100 percent waterproof and sweat-proof, able to withstand heavy perspiration, rinsing after active use and submersion under water up to 12 feet. They also all come with a variety of earplug sizes and styles.
