Toshiba is spotlighting its TDP-T45U DLP mobile projector, a high-performance, portable presentation tool. The projector offers 2,500 ANSI lumens, a contrast ratio of 2000:1 and XGA 1,024 by 768 resolution. It is designed to be easy to set up and operate, and includes a wide range of multimedia capabilities and connectivity options such as two computer inputs, composite-video, dual component and S-video inputs, as well as audio-in and variable output capabilities.
The 6.6-pound unit includes a 1-watt speaker for enhanced multimedia sound. It is reportedly ready to use out of the box, and includes a fully loaded remote control as well as a special monitor output connector that allows users to view presentations from an external display, in addition to what is projected on the screen. Estimated single unit price is $1,199.
