Acer America continued its summer product rollout last week with the introduction of an eMachines-branded all-in-one desktop.
The $399 EZ1601-01 has an 18.5W-inch display and built-in Wi-Fi, so it can be placed in a kitchen or family room without the need to run cable, the company said.
The unit is powered by an Intel Atom N270 processor running at 1.6GHz with 512KB of L2 cache and an Intel 945GSE Express chipset. It has 1GB of DDR3 553MHz memory, an 8x DVD SuperMulti drive, an integrated Intel graphics media accelerator 950, five USB ports and built-in speakers.
