FOUNTAIN VALLEY, CALIF. — D-Link has started shipping to two small-form-factor Wi-Fi adapters.

The Wireless N 150 Pico Adapter and the Wireless N Nano USB Adapter will upgrade an 802.11b/g notebook or desktop to the 802.11n standard.

Each adapter connects via USB.

The Wireless N 150 Pico Adapter offers data-transfer speeds up to 150MBps, secure connections using WPA or WPA2 encryption, and is USB 2.0 compliant.

The Wireless N Nano USB Adapter adds D-Link’s quick adapter setup wizard, and has a multiple antenna array that uses a room’s ceilings and walls to bounce signals around to avoid interference and eliminate dead spots. Other features include a wireless connection manager that tells the user what networks have recently been accessed and Wi- Fi Protected Setup that establishes a network connection without requiring encryption codes.

Each has a $49.99 suggested retail.
