Coby Unveils First Android 4.0 Tablets

LAKE SUCCESS, N.Y. — Coby Electronics got a jump on International CES by revealing its first tablets based on Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich.

The Android 4.0 devices are the 7-inch MID7045, 8-inch MID8045, 9-inch MID9045, 9.7-inch MID9745 and 10.1-inch MID1045.

These all feature capacitive touchscreens, 1GHz Arm Cortex A8 processors, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of storage 802.11b/g/n, an HDMI port, a MicroSD slot, USB 2.0 port, microphone and speaker jack.

All are expected to ship in the first quarter. Pricing has not been announced.
