Canon Debuts Laser MFP

Canon's latest entry into the laser MFP market is the imageCLASS MF4270 which features networking and duplex printing.

The MF4270 is geared toward the small- and home-office consumer and is expected to ship in September with a $299 estimated street price.

The model, one of Canon's smallest in this class, has print and copy speeds of 21 pages per minute at a resolution of 1,200 by 600 dpi. The 24-bit color scanner scans at 9,600dpi. It also has fax capability.

The unit can be connected to a home network via an Ethernet port.
