AVerMedia will ship a series of DVD burning and TV/PC devices starting this month.

AVerMedia, which manufactures products for the retail and OEM markets, will ship the DVD EZMaker USB 2.0 in the next few weeks. This is a portable, external device that captures and converts digital video to MPEG2 format and comes with DVD burning software.

It will carry a $89.99 suggested retail price.

Shipping at about the same time is the EZMaker 1394 PCI, an internal version of the USB 2.0 product. It has a $49.99 suggested retail price. Later in June a third EZMaker product will ship, the 1394 CardBus. This is designed for use with notebook computers, has three ports and a $69.99 suggested retail price.

The company also has two new upcoming products in its TV Tuner/PVR category. In late June it will start shipping the UltraTV PCI Pro, a internal tuner that can capture video from analog devices and perform most PVR functions. The card is bundled with video editing software and will carry a $79.99 suggested retail price.

In July the company will ship AverTV Box 5. It is an external TV Tuner for watching television programming on a standard PC monitor. It has picture in picture capability, closed captioning and parental controls. Pricing has not been set.
