ANAHEIM, CALIF. — Zyxel Communications, a manufacturer of secure broadband networking, Internet connectivity and routing products, began shipping its CloudEnabled series of web cameras.

The IPC3605N ($99 street price) and IPC4605N ($185) are designed for the home and small office, and they provide accessibility to video feeds via any PC, iPhone or Android device, or through any web browser with a current Flash plug-in, according to the company.

An iSecurity+ app, available for free on Apple Marketplace or the Android Market, allows smartphones and tablets to view images from the camera without additional configuration, it added.

Features for both camears include 802.11n wireless technology, 720p video, H.264 video encoding and infrared LEDs to illuminate dark areas for up to 15 feet.

The IPC4605N adds pan-tilt-zoom functionality, enabling users to pan up to 340 degrees and tilt up to 100 degrees.

They are both currently available.
