Xantrex Debuts Power Source For Portables

By Staff On Sep 4 2006 - 6:00am

Xantrex Technology is launching the XPower PowerSource Mobile 100, a palm-sized, portable power source for all mobile devices including laptops, cellphones, PDAs, portable DVD players, game consoles and more. When the device’s battery runs out of power, users can plug its AC charger or USB cable into the Mobile 100 to operate the device or charge it.

The XPower PowerSource Mobile 100 combines a 100W inverter with lightweight, high-output lithium ion battery. It has one AC outlet and two USB outlets so multiple items can be operated and/or charged at once, and it is compatible with various electronic devices so users need not carry device-specific batteries and extra AC and USB chargers, or numerous “tips” for each specific device.
