Two peripherals suppliers have unveiled their latest 2.4GHz wireless-keyboard models.

Next Generation Tech will ship its latest X-Gene 2.4GHz wireless model, the PN-01030.

The full-size unit is Mac, Windows XP Media Center Edition and Windows Vista Premium compatible and features a space-saving 800 dpi optical trackball that allows 360-degree navigation for gamers. Eight Media Center hot keys are located at the bottom of the unit, and a 14-key remote control, included, lets the user operate any connected media from up to 45 feet.

"Our PN-01030 wireless keyboard provides the ultimate in convenience for not only general usage, but also for anyone operating a Windows Media Center," commented Joseph Shih, president of Next Generation, based in City of Industry, Calif. "Plus, its sleek, elegant design adds a look and feel of sophistication no matter where it is used."

The ergonomically designed keyboard comes in black and measures 16.7 inches by 5.9 inches by 1.2 inches.

The X-Gene PN-01030 2.4GHz wireless keyboard will be available at NewEgg.com and other online retailers.
