Voxred International will show two backup charging products for portable devices at International CES.
The iTurbo is a portable power source that can be used with a variety of iPod models. Its design is reminiscent of a small tube of lip balm. Available in black or white with matching adapters, the product runs on a single AA battery. According to the company, it provides different amounts of playtime depending on the iPod model it coupled with, however it estimates that the iTurbo can provide up to nine hours of extra power for an iPod nano. The iTurbos are available now and carry suggested retail prices ranging between $29.99 and $34.99.
Also available is the company's New Edition Turbo Charge, a reusable charger for cellphones and PDAs. The product runs on a single AA battery and has a shape that is similar to the iTurbo but it is constructed of lightweight aluminum with a chrome-colored exterior. The company estimates that the New Edition Turbo Charge can provide enough power for up to two additional hours of talk time and up to 40 hours of standby time, depending on the make and model of the product it is supporting.
