As Usual, New iPhone Is Welcomed By New Accessories

NEW YORK — CE manufacturers know the drill by now: Apple announces new device. Accessories manufacturers scramble to announce products that will be available in time for its launch. Rinse and repeat.

In the case of the iPhone 4S, however, announced earlier this month, a slight wrench was thrown in the works: As many CE manufactures were quick to note to TWICE, the actually construction of the iPhone 4S didn’t appear to be any different than the iPhone 3G. (Most were still waiting to get their hands on one at press time.) As a result, they could jump for joy, knowing that their existing lines would carry over to the new device.

This did not stop many of them, however, from introducing new products to time with the iPhone 4S announcement. After all, nothing is as good for the accessories business as a new Apple device. Here is a roundup of some of the latest and greatest that are itching to outfit the iPhone.
