Phase Technology is offering a new mounting bracket designed specifically for its custom installation in round in-ceiling model speakers. Called the CI-FGR/tilt universal flange and grille kit, it provides custom installers a versatile mounting solution that features a tilt function which positions speakers at an angle of 20 degrees, in order to aim sound more directly at the listeners.
With the CI-FGR-tilt and the company's original CI-FGR flat flange/grille sets, an installer can configure sound in any room to meet a user's needs. Whether users want speakers angled toward the listener to focus the sound in a theater setting or from sloping ceilings, or want a more traditional indirect sound-field, installers can provide solutions with any of Phase Technology's in-ceiling CI-series models, said the company.
Mounts will be available in late April/early May, and are provided at no cost to consumers who order the custom installation round in-ceiling speakers, which range from $300 to $900 per pair.
